How often do you just drag yourself through the day wishing it was bedtime already?

Lack of energy is one of the most common complaints in our modern society.

There are number of reasons why you might feel exhausted on daily basis. Some of the most common contributing factors include:

·             Long term stress

·             Poor diet

·             Lack of good quality sleep

·             Lack of exercise or too much exercise

·             Chronic inflammation

·             Toxicity

I believe (and I learned this the hard way) that the most empowering thing you can do for yourself is to take full responsibility for your own health, your actions and your feelings. I mean this in the most loving way.

When I personally made this realisation many years ago, it completely changed my life and the way I treated myself and my body.

What really helps me to feel more energised and excited about my day is my morning routine.

The power of morning routine!

Every morning I love dedicating few minutes to my meditation practice and gratitude journaling while enjoying my cup of coffee or tea. This simple quiet time allows me to set my intentions for the day. I also love to use energetic essences as soon as I wake up. At the moment I use the Activate Essence made by my beautiful friend Naturopath Lyle Paul.

Some days, especially on the weekends I would also walk along the beach. 

I encourage you to set up your own version of morning routine, even if you only have few minutes to spare.

Try not to check your emails or news as soon as you wake up.
